Pleased to Meet You

I'm a jack (or jill, really) of all trades and master of none, though I'm a relatively proficient vegan baker, sculptor, musician and writer.

I live in Portland, Maine with my boyfriend and our cat, a situation that makes me almost impossibly happy.

I started this blog with only a vague idea of what it would be about, and I'm still more or less unclear.  On the one hand I'm interested in using this space as a sounding board for figuring things out on a personal level, and on the other I, like most of the other lovable narcissists known as bloggers, enjoy having a soap box for my political and social ideas.

This has been a fun experiment.  It's re-connected me with old friends, generated some surprising conversations with people close to me, and paved the way for new friendships.  I hope you'll join the party:  share your thoughts on a post or just say hi.  If you've got a blog to share, do that too. I'm always looking for new things to read.
